SALES AND MARKETING COUNCIL
Chairman: Pat Durham
As home buyers become more and more sophisticated, the importance of knowing what to build, where to build it, and how to best sell it becomes more critical. Builders, agents and lenders can learn more about selling in today's market through the HBAL's Sales and Marketing Council (SMC).
Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders' National Sales and Marketing Council, the Louisville SMC's primary goal is to increase the professionalism of new home sales and marketing.
Each year, the SMC presents a DEVELOPERS FAIR, in which developers present information on location, lot sizes, prices, and amenities (such as a club house) for new and existing developments in the area. They also have an annual awards banquet that recognizes top sales agents and Builder members of the HBAL. For more information on the SMC contact Gail Schell.
